WHO WE ARE

Porter Hulett is a long established firm servicing clients in the Eastern suburbs of Brisbane.

Our principal office is at Wynnum Central, adjacent to beautiful Moreton Bay. This is about 16 kilometers from and easily accessible to the CBD.

Our Morningside office is only 7 kilometers from the CBD.

The firm was established in Wynnum in the early 1960 under the name of Thomas Genninges & Co. The Morningside office was opened in 1975.

There are two partners, Geoff Porter and Jon Hulett. They have been partners since 1979 and have a wealth of experience between them.

Geoff Porter has been practicing as a Solicitor since 1974. He works at our Wynnum office, which comprises 3 Solicitors and a support staff of 6. Geoff has forged an impressive reputation in Family Law work, having practised in that area consistently since the introduction of the Family Law Act in 1975.He oversees a highly experienced Conveyancing Team, and has considerable expertise in most aspects of commercial work. Geoff's reputation has been built on advancing his clients' cause with a singular determination.

Jon Hulett was admitted as a Solicitor in England in 1974 and in Queensland in 1978. He works at Morningside, with a support staff of 2. Jon practices predominantly in the areas of Family Law, Conveyancing , Wills and Estates, and general commercial work. Jon is known by many in the Wynnum area for his interest in music and choral singing. He is a volounter reader on 4RPH, Brisbane radio for the sight impaired.
